SLC1 - It is essentially just a vacation where the wife can’t drink so you have to choose a spot where you can do some other stuff
Turks & Caicos
AZ
Scottsdale
Wife and I did Puerto Rico in 2013 when we had our first. The St Regis there was amazing. Not sure what it's like now, but something to consider...
Spain - we did Seville and really enjoyed it. Also looked at Lisbon.
Zika is a concern constantly, and all the way up to Year 1 (when the concern after birth is just being really really sick). Super limiting.
We did Kauai. While that’s hard from NYC (hi neighbor) we did it on Hawaiian business class and my wife loved it. Being that separated from the mainland helped take her mind off things.
We did Dove Mountain in AZ before that. The Ritz is nice enough and we really blissed out on some easy hikes.... and on some really good tacos at hole-in-the-wall places
Isla Mujeres. Cheep, easy to get to, safe, beautiful, exotic, relaxing, great beaches and you can drive around the island on golf carts!
We did Charleston - great food and pretty relaxing
Manhattan
Should have mentioned this before.. currently live in NYC 😊
So you could go anywhere. What time of year and do you need a particular hotel chain?
Thinking March end-April .. would be good to have spg options but that’s not really a constraint..would prefer a < 4 hour flight. Looking at Charleston as one of the options.
Top sail
Charleston SC - treat yo self!
Uh. I must be getting old. "Babymoon" is a thing? I just thought it was a "vacation."
Florida 😎
I personally loved Portland, ME. Nashville, STL and ORD might be solid options as well. If you want to head south, I've heard very good things about Atlanta.
Thanks for the explanation. Our 3rd (and final) babymoon was me starting a graduate program while working full time, and getting her to DD when needed. Looks like I failed haha
Thanks guys!
