Just got my official CISA passing results today, took my exam and got the preliminary pass last week, studied using only the QAE DB, nothing else. I scored at 80% or above for all practice section and practice exams before the test - passed with a 546 overall. I'd say 80% is a good metric for a pass with some cushion! Unfortunately, ISACA doesn't publicly share how they weight questions and domains, so it's a little bit of a shot in the dark if successful practice scores will translate into a pass on the actual exam
Nice! After studying, my final practice exam scores were 88% and 94% - domain 5 wasn't my worst while studying, but ended up being my worst on the actual exam. Got a straight 450 on that domain haha
I’d say that’s a pretty good score for the QAE practice tests. Something else I’d recommend that I felt helped a lot, is going through the Hemang Doshi CISA course on Udemy. You can sign up for a 1-week free trial on Udemy, so I did that as my primary studying guide the week leading up to my exam. That helped me to think through concepts differently and was a good pair to the QAE. Good luck!
