Isn’t it Norton Rose Fulbright now?
Yes it is. “NRF” or “Fulbright”
Fulbright & Jaworksi? You sound like my parents….Norton Rose Fulbright is what’s left.
How did you even know to refer to the firm as Fulbright and Jawirksi? Lol like why was that your first reference?
I did a callback there as a rising 2L and they have this big wall honoring all of Leon Jaworski’s accomplishments. Still probably doesn’t make up for the fact that his name is no longer in the firm title.
Been at NRF/F&J 8 years and love it. Have had plenty of opportunities to go elsewhere and haven’t even really considered it.
NRF Houston is a great place to work, I love it! Great people, good culture and lots of opportunities. Lots to like, plenty of BL bs like anywhere else, but on balance, it’s great.
I worked there in the early 2000s before the merger. I really enjoyed it. Was easy enough to work hours around starting a family which was kind of unheard of then. Not sure what they're like now.
Ahh I want that offer. I work energy in TX but I'd love to be there. Congrats on the possibility!
Not there but hear really good things about it.
What group?
Houston traffic is terrible.
Only compares to Atlanta and LA.
One of our senior partners worked at NRF years ago, but I can’t speak of the work life from first hand experience.
If you have a family I would look at the Sugarland area. A bit of a commute but better for family life.
I love the greater Houston area.
