How shall I switch to product based companies considering DSA is their 1st round itself.what level of DSA can I expect from companies for data engineer position?
Hi everyone, I have 2 years of experience in a service based industry as a Java developer, and I am eager to work hard and switch to a reputed product based organisation, but I am not getting proper time to study and practice data structures and algorithms, as I have so much to learn and understand things which are related to my project. Any suggestions would be appreciated and I'll try to inculcate it. Thanks in advance! Amazon Oracle Samsung Microsoft Cisco Salesforce Arcesium Uber

You’re doubling your pay to go back to doing something you’re good at. I’d go back
Depends on a lot of different factors. Age, which company your prefer, which industry etc. but personally I would do it because I miss industry. Consulting has been fun but I’m looking for my exit
I’d say it depends if you want to ever come back to consulting. Might have some questions down the road. But I have heard of a lot of people doing this in consulting, can always phrase it as “consulting wasn’t for me”
Do you like your old company? What made you leave in the first place? I’ll do it, but because I’ve been in consulting for a longgggg time and I’m ready to make the move.
And you are getting more money on the industry job? Then go back 🙃

This is a very personal choice. Your ques about optics - if you take this role back to your prev company I’d look to try and stay an extended period of time. Sure you can explain away with anything but if I were your resume and I saw 5-1-1 and you were looking to join my company I’d want a serious explanation. Gl in your decision
But totally understand that staying there more than 1 year would be key. Would want to at least do 3 minimum
