Post MBA at Google is usually L5 out of school (sometime L4 if limited YOE before school). If you have some YOE after school, especially if you specialized in projects with tech companies, you MAY be able to wiggle into an L6, but know that getting a promotion from there will be tough for a few years. No up or out, so that's fine, just something to keep in mind.

like

Post MBA standard is L4. MBA + 2yrs consulting = L5. Very hard to get L6 unless you're an experienced PL/EM

likehelpful

A high L4 with an expectation to advance to L5 in the next two perf. cycles is most likely. If a bit more experienced, L5 is possible. L6 would be unheard of IMO.

I moved to Canada from India 2.5 years ago for my PG in IT BA. I have a bachelors in IT and I worked as a developer for 5 years back home. After my PG, I spent 8 months looking for a job, my current company interviewed me for Technical project manager, but they offered me the role of a PC. I accepted it without negotiating as I did not want to lose the opportunity, I am extremely underpaid and I have been doing the job of 3 people, as my company keeps firing folks. I’ve lost all my confidence.

Need some career advice.
I have 4years of experience in the field of content moderation and management. I worked with Genpact at 3.5lpa last drawn for 2.10years and recently joined Accenture on September,2021 for 5lpa(been three and a half months).
Not happy with the package and level after getting to know the inside details. I aspire to become a team lead by end of 2022 and Accenture doesn't have that ace of promotion. What do I do and which company do i try for at what time?

To my fellow Chicago Data Scientists, I’m trying to understand the market rate for a Sr. Data Scientist position atm. I was going to ask $140k-$150K for a base based on what I’ve seen on LinkedIn. That too low? Too high? Thanks in advance!

I’m from the Account side but I’m looking to switch things up in my career and move over to Project Management. At my current agency the role I have been holding doesn’t seem to have that type of transition opportunity. Due to that lack of flexibility I have been searching for hybrid or remote options. The idea presented itself a few months ago when I was recruited by an agency slightly larger than my own. I made to the top three but was not selected for the position. Any leads advice welcomed!

My initial take is she's just hard to read and probably a tightly controlled introvert. My direct report felt she's 'cold as ice,' 'bristling' at our suggestions, and forming a clique that wants to do their own thing with no input from our team. He's triggered very easily, and there was no explicit evidence, just a 'vibe' so I wrote it off. (See 1st comment)
