Looking to relocate to Atlanta and I see a few Microsoft roles I’d be interested in. However, I’m not very technical so I worry I may not be a good fit based on that alone. Is there a certain threshold of technical skills I need regardless of the department I’d be applying to?

Got a verbal offer from a big 4 a month ago, discussed salary expectations 3 weeks ago, still no offer letter. Firm has to let me know it should be coming soon. Are these normal timelines?

Under contract for nearly 1.1M. Wife and I are at HHI $315k. Will go up in the future, $400k in 3 years and $500k possible in 5-7 years. We have $300k in non-retirement funds, $260k of which will go towards acquiring the house. We have 2 kids and will probably reduce (not maxing) retirement accounts next 18 months to do this.
