Updated net metering rules are making the value prop for solar less valuable. Definitely still valuable but if just renting it’s worth 100-200/month max
A lot of the listings state that their electric bill is basically zero. Doesn't that equate to $400-600 per month for a large home?
4 bedroom property…your electric bill will probably be between $250-$600 a month depending on AC usage.
The thing about net metering you’ll need to ask what they’re on. It’s less valuable the higher the number is. 3 is the highest number.
Solar would be very helpful. I am renting a 2 bedroom apartment and our bill is $300 a month, when we paid $80 for the month in our old town. The electric rates here are absolutely wild. I would put a high value on efficiency and paid solar
