Anyone else have a birthday today?
Guys there’s this boot camp that I came across that trains people to get jobs in Top consulting firms and has a fee plan wherein you pay once you get placed. I just wanted to know if someone here has any experience with this ?

For starters why do you think you would get in as an associate much less an engagement manager if you’re a new SC lol
The others are a bit harsh; SC=ASC at OW in terms of title.
How many YOE do you have? To get ASC offer you really have to have at least 4 YOE (which I'm assuming you do based on 2 BA/2 C) or MBA.
I won't speak to the role, but there are 2 major levels of ASC with massively different salary. The first level is ASC1 where your salary would be 135k. If you are lucky and jump over at ASC2 your salary would be 170k (the sub level Mbas come in as)
What is the differentiator with coming in at ASC1 or 2?
Are you joining a particular practice group or do you want to join as a generalist? That will make a big difference in where you end up salary-wise. DM if you want to speak more about this (and for a referral if still relevant)
Could you elaborate on how the salary and level may differ for someone coming in as a generalist vs a particular practice group?
SC at Deloitte barely equals Associate at OW… not sure if stretch for M is the right word
As another data point, I was a new senior manager in a Big4, and came in to OW as an A
Happy to refer as well’
Happy to refer if you DM- but as others have mentioned, we do expect a lot from our associates. They need to execute a small project from end-to-end, with some light partner support
The way our projects are being staffed these days, a lot of SCs have this level of responsibility, but probably not as a brand new promote

Bruh people just love devaluing Deloitte any chance they get on here please help me understand why. OP just wants some help
Thank you. Very confused why people are coming for me when asking a genuine question
Also anyone willing to refer?
I can refer. DM me
Oh I could be wrong then. I thought that from level standpoint SC at D equaled Associate at OW since it was the level that MBAs come in as. What is the difference from your perspective?
