It is a struggle between attendance guidelines and then illness guidelines. When my kiddos were little it really was constant sniffles and varied illnesses. If I kept them home a week everytime they never would have gone to school. But how to mesh that with not spreading sick too, I don’t feel like there is a good answer.

like

I kind of agree. The guidelines are noy clear enough . Two people can have the same symptoms but one gets diagnosed with covid, and the other has an allergy.

like

What isolation guidelines? They now say treat it like the flu, which is fine. We don’t have coronavirus either where we are in Texas but we are not actively concerned about it either.

like

I also have not heard about any isolation policy. We have kids out one day, and they're back the next day, coughing and gagging!

like

We do a little bit of extra hand washing and wiping down desks/tables to try to decrease the spread of all of these things during cold and flu season. Door handles are culprits.

like

I keep wipes in my room, ibis the kids to wore down their desk if they feel piggy or sickly. I also tell them to let me know if they are feeling bad, and I can wipe the desk down for them

What isolation guidelines?

A long as they are fever-free, they let them come back. Most of the Students so far are coming back after a few days.

Covid has been hard. March 2029- December 2020 I drank a lot to cope without realizing it. January- March I didn't realize I was depressed. March I came to terms with increase and ongoing suicidal ideation and needed help.

I went into a intensive outpatient program (IOP) which has been super helpful.

During the beginning of covid I drank every day and in a great deal. January it was a "dry" month which was hard the first week but overall great.

March 2021 realized I'm clinically depressed.

Folks, I've recently moved to the U.S. and healthcare here is a maze, even if I have health coverage through the job. I've been wanting to see a therapist and it feels like it is quite expensive to see one. I'm on a HDP PPO plan and essentially I was told I pay $250 a session till I spend ~$7000, and then insurance copay kicks in. Seriously at a loss if I'm missing something or if folks spend the same on seeing a therapist. I'm curious as to how a lot of folks are able to afford the price tag.

Hello All,

I have recently joined
FIS Global around end of April. My mother recently met with an accident and she needs to be operated.
I haven't been able to update the anything regarding the insurance part yet on FIS portal.

Will my mother's treatment be covered under the insurance? If yes, what's the procedure for the same? What are the documents that I need to submit in order to claim the amount?

Can anyone please guide?

I'm early in my career, managed to save $30K to invest, and want to get my hands dirty with a rental property without too much risk (e.g. no HML/flipping). It sounds like that's a tall order in the NY/CT area given the prices, not to mention whether I'd be able to get a mortgage on anything below $100K, but I figure I'll give it a shot anyway. Any advice on what you might do in my position? Am I being crazy with this idea?

Is it common for an SE to need to do analyst-style research for a POV/POC? This research helps guides our team of analysts in configuring the product’s environment for the POC. As an SE, I’m tasked with this research since I’m customer-facing but our analysts are not. Idea being that I can apply knowledge of the customer’s requirements.
