140 seems low for a tenured manager I'd ballpark 160, not sure on signing, but don't expect much, maybe 5-10 for moving costs. Our bonuses suck (high end is <10%).
$140K currently... PM practice
What’s your salary now and what do you do? It you’re at the top end of the range you might have to expect a flat offer or even lower than what you get right now
I’d assume you can score 160+
What does glassdoor say? Add 10%
Raises any good at Pwc?
Oops I mean EY
Out of curiosity what is the motivation for the lateral move? If anything it seems like it would prolong your time to director
At least 20% higher or doesn't make sense to jump.
I believe the PM practice at PWC is performing better than at EY. EY has 2 sub competencies under that and attrition is high, hence the major recruitment. Anyways, 140 is low for a manager and moving to a tier 1 City means more expenses. So I would def aim for 25-30% bump
For tier 1 as Manager 2, I made 170k. So I’d assume EY to be in a similar ball park. It wouldn’t make sense if they don’t adjust for Cost of living. I’d say nothing below $175k, even $180k. EY also does negligible bonuses compared to PwC. The max here is 10-12%, which was an average at PwC. So factor that in too.
Edit: I came from PwC to EY, different practice, though.
