In your thank you letter start with "Dear Queen of the Andals and the first men, Protector of the Realm, Mother of Dragons, Breaker of Chains,Great Khaleesi of the great grass sea, the unburnt!, it was great to meet you yesterday"
But good luck! :)
I normally go with ”your highness”
How is that a mistake?
How the hell is showing respect an issue? Please explain
Was it a female partner?
Probably better than daddy.
Is everyone here from the north? Pretty common in the south
I use ma'am and sir when I talk to the janitors and lunch cafeteria ladies. I'm sure it would be suitable for him.
I use sir /ma'am everday...regardless of who you are.
Context matters, but it's not a complete deal breaker. Def a little weird tho.
So we can't say Sir anymore.... so do I go with Dude or chick?
Can the naysayers explain what's wrong with sir? I am trying to play it over in my mind and can't figure out how it's awkward?
I default to calling people by name. To all thw folks saying either dude or sir, those aren't the only two options. Shocking, I know.
I use ma'am and sir all the time. I also get called sir. What is acceptable at Deloitte? Bruh? Brah?
Standard for the South. I say sir and ma'am all if the time been at Deloitte for 7 years. It is called respect
Yeah, I'm from the South, and literally everyone (unless they're not obviously identified with a gender, in which case I don't use it) gets sir or ma'am. It's just polite.
It's over!!! Get out
Well said ZSA2.
It's respect, respect is never the wrong answer.
Of course it was male partner lol. Yeah just felt it’s a lil weird and was kinda surprised at myself to be honest. Oh well, it’s done and over. Hoping for the best :)
Based on the responses I’m glad my interview wasn’t with D !
