Making Manager in FDD in one year, coming directly from audit as an SA. Possible?

Moving out of IT consulting to Product Management side in the next couple of weeks.
The new company I will join is an e-commerce division of a leading food retail group.

Any suggestions about books/ videos that I can access to learn the basics of the retail side??

Just got briefed to come up with a brand tagline and I quote: “Client is expecting action in the tagline, some sort of verb.” No other information, except what I already know of the brand by virtue of working on it. When I asked to speak with the client, my request was denied. Absolutely incensed with the servicing team. Not sure how to tell them this is unacceptable without screaming! Any advice on how to deal?

I racked up about $20k in credit card debt due to a confluence of things happening at once (move, school expenses , etc ). I have a fair amount of paper assets but not a much free cash. Assets are down a decent amount with the current market cycle and I’d prefer not to sell them to cover the debt , although they easily could. Any suggestions how to handle the credit card debt without racking up tons of ongoing card interest?

I know the general answer to this, but I want to know others response.
If by your 30’s you’re mostly established in life, why is it then harder to establish a long lasting relationship with someone ?

I know I will get hated by saying this. Do you think gay pride events are portraying a bad image about our community to public? (Drugs, sexual, inappropriate clothes, and sometimes like strip clubs- some parts). I know it is right to present us but I just feel it is not the right way to show who we are. I wish the pride where everybody can connect in a more friendly way (outdoor game- team work, dance, drink something not too sexual.) there are some good parts of pride tho. Any opinions?

FDD/TAS Senior > Restructuring (Rx) analyst or associate (FAS/Banking) - Has anyone seen it done before? Would starting from Valuation instead of FDD be a better stepping stone to Rx banking.
