Hi everyone, I work at an early stage start up that just closed our round A. I just hired a director below me, however when it was time to come up with an offer I was removed from the conversation. The CO-founders said they’d handle the actual offer amount/equity. I joined early so salary is low but I have decent equity. I mean when my friends call me, sometimes I would ignore or take a really long time to respond purposely, I also tend to not to reach out to people proactively. Therefore, I don’t have many friends.
