My Booth interviewer flaked on me, interview was supposed to be tomorrow and still no news of time and location. 4th time reaching out and also asking admissions...wtf

I’m currently a Manager at Accenture and got contacted by a recruiter for a meta EM position. I wasn’t expecting it at all, any tips or resources to recommend to get ready for the interview process?

Is it worth applying for a position with a firm you are directly adverse to on a matter or will conflicts definitely keep you from joining?

Is it common to negotiate software engineer salary at smaller companies? I know it’s common at FAANG, but what about for companies with around 200 engineers? I have a counter offer from my current company and on-site interviews scheduled for end of July with google and Amazon, but I’d prefer to go with the smaller local company if I can negotiate the salary (from offer letter) up another 5% or so.

Applied for EYP TSE Operation Analytics Senior and had a initial screening call with EYP recruiter two weeks ago but she has been ignoring my follow up email and hasn't been responding since. Is it normal or I'm no longer in their consideration already?

Also wondering if anyone from that practice is willing to connect? I'm currently in DDV and very good at Alteryx and Tableau, so want to make the switch.

When you recruiters say at the end of a 15 min call.
“I will get back to you by the end of this week” does that really mean “your not right for this position”? Because this whole thing is a waste of time. I’ve did these calls with 3 recruiters and is yet to hear back from someone. Today would be the 4th recruiter that I’ve spoken to. Does this practice annoy you guys just as much as it does us? My dream career is to be a technical recruiter but this whole thing is discouraging.

Do you still write thank you emails after interviews? A lot of the roles I interview for these days are coordinated by recruiters so I don’t see the interviewers emails

Is it a strategic disadvantage to not have an admissions consultant? I just cannot justify the cost of hiring them for my applications.
