Hi, I been working for Lloyds Bank for almost 9 years now , I recently attended a interview for Barclays and offered an Senior Business Analyst AVP role in Wealth and private banking area. I did not see much difference in the salary offered and it is pretty much same ie 68.5k.But the difference is current role is London based, however the Barclays one is based in Glasgow where cost of living is less in comparison. I am unable to decide whether to take the offer or not..any suggestions will be helpful pls.

Bain & Company I’m currently prepping for Bain & Company and McKinsey & Company interviews scheduled in the next 2 months. For those that interviewed with both, how would you suggest I tailor my preparation for each one? I understand McKinsey is interviewer led while Bain is the opposite. But other than that, is there anything else I should work on separately for each one?

Yeah Round 1 and 2 are the same. Also Round 1 is unlikely to have APs, but Round 2 is almost guaranteed to have them.
Lol I got an EM and AP Round 1, and have all partners Round 2. Thank you for the info!
Make sure you brush up your fit!! I would say balance slightly shifts towards fit
I think that MIGHT be a Mckinseyism. I would say on the whole by the partner round they kinda assume you can case…I’ve had two offers from T2 but I admit they aren’t MBB. Both my partner rounds were more relaxed on case, more heavy on fit time wise and I got the impression all four of them (between two companies) didn’t care for a structured case
Exactly the same. Our interviews are very, very structured, and deviating at all from the process will get you in hot water. I’m an EM who interviews both for first rounds and during power rounds and the process is identical.
Thank you so much!

How exactly would you prep differently if they were?
(I can’t speak to your geo or circumstance, but they’re the same in my part of the firm)
