While I look for work, it’s a bit discouraging seeing how hundreds of people apply for positions I see on LinkedIn. I still apply because you never know and AI plays a huge effect in selections. Should I even bother applying when there are more than 100 applications?

Hey all! I went through the interviewing process with a company and we had a verbal agreement on X amount of salary per year. They liked me and extended an offer but the offer was for $15K less than what we agreed bc that’s what HR approved for. I was desperate so I took it. Accepting this offer meant that I had to relocate to the other side of the country. Omw that was 2500 miles, I received a call that they rescinded the offer. Is there anything legal that I can do to sue them?

I faked my resume I mean my contracting firm did and I didn’t have choice and I got the job. Now my client wants to offer me a full time position. Welp. Had an interview scheduled for this morning for 30 mins. I join the webex & nothing. Looking to transition out of Management Consulting and going into big tech in NYC. Ideally, I would love to go in as a PMM; however I’ve heard it’s very difficult to make that jump if you don’t have a degree in engineering or CS (I’m a liberal arts graduate and in the final year of a part-time mba).
