Some companies give hike according to certain percentage. Nw from my previous Company's Ctc was very less. Anyone else finding it very difficult to get any enjoyment out of account management these days? Any coping tips? I feel like being an account person is especially difficult in the COVID era since so much of what we do is manage communications, ensure the team is set up well etc. None of this feels particularly fun alone staring into the void of Zoom all day ... but the same pressure is still there. I feel like I spend every week counting down to the weekend which kinda sucks.

I want to quit without a job lined up. My agency is a dumpster fire of incompetent project managers, revolving door of creatives and culture of not holding people accountable amidst a micromanaging gossipy leadership. I just want out. Tell me it is ok and will be alright.

I'm going for a role for Account Director and have gone through the interviews with the head of accounts, BD as well as the ECD's. I received the following email at the end of the day:

"You are one of two candidates in the final round.

One thing we haven’t spoken about are your salary expectations. Could you have a think and let me know early next week as well as your employment status (residency permit)."

What would be the best way to answer this response? Appreciate the help

Any Type B people in account? The teams I’ve worked with have primarily been Type A people. As a Type B person, it’s stressful for me and makes me feel bad for being Type B.

Sometimes it feels half my day is spent jumping through hoops to schedule and then reschedule meetings around senior managements’ calendars...only for them to be so late they miss the meeting anyways🙄

Is 7 weeks too early to start thinking I may have made a huge mistake in switching to my current gig? I left the last place because it was overr toxic and terrible W/L balance, for one that seemed to be more “fun” and more realistic hours, only to find that I’ve now been working 12 -14 hours a day and just drowning and feeling like I cannot catch up or catch my breath. Everyone is in the same boat here which is why I’m so overwhelmed so quickly with no support. Is this an immediate red flag?
