So…..my director has been in the position for a little over a year. We’ve been working our tails off and last quarter were informed of no bonuses. I understand that business is down and need to save money. The straw for us was a company holiday party. They completely forgot to have one and now taking us to a bar for drinks and appetizers. Is serving 1 week notice mean being in bad books of employer? I am just exhausted and feel burnt out from constant weekend work and 15hrs of work daily for months and no resource to help to share the work load due to budget constraints. Finally had to pull the plug and I am so glad i did.But leadership wants 2 to 3 weeks of notice whereas I am serving 1 week only.
