Game changer. Acne Treatment Differin Gel, 30 Day Supply, Retinoid Treatment for Face with 0.1% Adapalene, Gentle Skin Care for Acne Prone Sensitive Skin, 15g Tube https://a.co/d/cgwtXsW
THIS! I've been using this product since the day I noticed signs of aging on my skin. My skin feels tighter now. I swear by this product. Although you need extra precautions before you use this as this contains strong ingredients.
Retinol, lasers, microdermabrasion
Go to a reputable medspa and have a consult! The professionals there are typically highly trained and have medical backgrounds (or that seems to be the theme in Chicago), and I’ve actually been told by my dermatologist that it’s totally okay to go to medspas for minimally invasive treatments like facials and Botox because medspa employees are certified in what they do.
You might benefit from medical grade skincare, or maybe microneedling to boost your collagen and elasticity. Filler or botox of course are always options, but you might be happy without even going the injectable route! I get a chemical peel and other medical grade facials a handful of times a year, I’ve done microneedling and loved the results, and I do a small amount of botox on my jaw because of nighttime jaw clenching. A medspa provider can help target the best options for your unique skin and goals. 🙂
What suburb? 🙂 I have a friend in the burbs who may have a recc — unfortunately all my reccs are in the city

In your mid-30s, you need to be using retinol.
And if you’re ever planning to do Botox, now is the time to start. You shouldn’t wait until you actually need it.
I've just followed Korean beauty and focus on skin barrier repair and hydration. I have also started gua sha and facial massages - they work so well! I don't use retinols or other actives other than the occasional exfoliant. My results were noticeable within 3 months. I also love the Evan Healy skin care brand that you can get from whole foods or online - game changer for my skin. If you can devote 10-15 mins a day on gua sha and facial massage i dont think you'll need botox!
Hi there! I've been using SkinCeuticals C E Ferulic for almost a year now. This is super gentle on the skin but really effective. It reversed the damage caused by the sun and stress on my skin. Sun damage also makes signs of aging more prominent. With the help of Vitamins C and E and resveratrol, you can manage those signs better.
You guys need to try Caudalie Resveratrol Lift Firming Cashmere Moisturizer right now! I never knew a moisturizer can be this good. It does more than moisturizing maybe because it has resveratrol in it.
I think it's retinol that makes the big difference from what I've seen...botox and fillers don't do as much and i's really too much maintenance to keep consistent unfortunately. But I second the recommendation around going to a medspa - made a huge difference for me
I think it also depends on your skin type. I tried several skin care products but nothing worked for me. I suggest you go to a derm.
If you're open to do botox, you should definitely do it. But I suggest you try using retinol first. Talk to your derma or research before doing anything. It's the safest way through this.
If you haven't been using sunscreen before your 30s, it's not too late. Try La Roche-Posay Anthelios Mineral Zinc Oxide Sunscreen SPF 50. Best sunscreen I've ever had. Use it religiously to avoid further sun damage or signs of aging on your skin.
There are so many amazing, affordable treatments available to maintain your skin these days! Highly recommend neurotoxin, peels, and microneedling, AND a really good medical grade home skin care program. You can consult with a medspa NP skin specialist or derm doc but aesthetic skincare specialists will typically provide a better comprehensive plan.
