I got an offer from another firm for 24lpa but they have shared the offer letter of DOJ after 2 months and asked me to negotiate my notice period or look for buyout. What should I do in this case? For all the young minds that are slogging away and pissing their life away on useless PPTs hoping that things are better when you are a partner - they are not - get out now!

One of the reasons I want to transition from industry to consulting (tier 1) is that I get frustrated when I have to collaborate with mediocre people. My assumption is that Tier 1 consulting firms hire really sharp people and if I can get in, I’ll be collaborating with folks on top of their game (not expecting much from clients). I’m aware there are personal aspects I need to work on like my mindset, patience etc etc, but I just get so frustrated with blatant stupidity.

Looking at my google photos - they make album categories based on pictures you take (like food, sunsets,beaches). My categories include Beer and Whiteboards...Pretty much sums up consulting.
