No she asked her roommate and she said it isn’t in the bathroom or her bedroom
This happened to my sister. The airline reimbursed her some money, not enough to replace everything but better than nothing.
That or many airlines will offer to sell baggage insurance(late for this instance if not already gotten).
Baggage reimbursements also commonly exist with travel reward credit cards so if the flight was booked with a travel card you might be able to get some reimbursement from that.
Ultimately there are ways to recovery but most require some planning before the trip....
You can report it to the airport but unless you have a picture of it/they have some way to identify it you probably won't see it again. Of it was stolen it wont be returned and if they consider it a "lost" bag I'm pretty sure they incinerate them after a certain time frame haha.
