Oh yeah you definitely need to try to get some experiences in Operations, Strategy, Logistics and Supply Chain.
I joined Amazon last year straight out of college, and I’m already at 85k-100k a year. However, I had relevant experiences and interned in the industry. I’m based in the South.
A logistics/supply interview at Amazon has 7 rounds, 1 hour each with people from your department, including the Principal.
Networking will be your best friend too, especially if you are targeting a well known supply chain company.
Best!
This is so helpful. Thank you so much, A1.
Also, I would recommend you look into Logistics and Supply Chain Investigations. People in that field come from legal background and they’re usually in charge of investigating supply chain issues and implementing legal procedures in response.
This sound like something that I would definitely enjoy doing. Thanks for the advice
It's possible to make at least $800 net as an entry-level logistics coordinator, but it depends on various factors such as your location, company, and experience. The national average salary for a logistics coordinator in the United States is around $44,000 per year, which translates to approximately $3,667 per month before taxes. However, salaries can range from around $30,000 to $60,000 per year, depending on the factors mentioned above.
As for entry-level jobs in logistics that don't require driving, there are many opportunities in areas such as supply chain management, inventory control, and warehouse operations. Some entry-level positions you could consider include: Logistics Coordinator, Inventory Control Specialist, Supply Chain Analyst, Operations Support Specialist, and/or Warehouse Supervisor
Thank you
It is possible to make at least $800 net per month in logistics-related roles without being a truck driver. Positions such as Logistics Coordinator, Logistics Analyst, Logistics Manager, and Inventory Control Specialist may offer a salary of at least that amount. Your background in law may be beneficial depending on the role, as many of these positions require excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. If you are interested in these roles, research job postings for companies in the logistics field, and submit applications for those which interest you.
Thank you
I think you need to at least have relevant experience. That will be crucial since your degree is not related at all.
I worked for the post office for like 2 years maybe that can help me finding a breaking point.
Hi, OP! How about getting a certification? That would be a great option. But yes, it is possible to earn at least $800 without being a truck driver.
Im open to the idea. Any specific certifications you suggest? I am willing to put some hours during the day to get these online.
Of course, it is possible. There are some roles that do not require any experience. But of course, your experience would be an edge.
Thank you so much. Any specific courses/certs that I can do online that can give me an edge over other ones? Thanks
You have been great. Thanks for all the honest feedback I am going to look further into this and see how I can bring my legal/criminal Justice background to a role within logistics.
Thank you
