Hi, I recently came across Scaler's MS program, which offers masters degree in collaboration with Woolf University (European University). And, I am looking move to Canada in near future. Will the master degree offered through this course will be accepted by the education evaluation institute WES? If yes, is it considered as equivalent to Canadian Masters degree? Yes, it is an excellent idea. I think it would be very helpful to be accepted
It would definitely help your application to have a master’s degree. The admissions committee will be looking for evidence that you are committed to your education and are taking the necessary steps to furthering your career. A master’s degree is a clear demonstration of both of these things.
It's hard to say exactly how much a master's degree would help your application without knowing more about your situation, but generally speaking, it would not be a major factor in the admissions process. Most programs are interested in your undergraduate grades and your GRE scores, and a master's degree generally would not add much to those metrics.
