I have an initial recruiter phone interview with Square Thursday. Is it it just a phone call or is it a video call and they didn’t specify. If it’s a video call what’s the dress code like? I’m coming from consulting so all my interviews were in suits. Any tips to get past the recruiter phone screen?
I got a call from HR and offer discussion was over couple of weeks back and still waiting for them to send me final mail to release offer. May I know if they take this much time to release offer, when I did a follow up call after 10 days they said they are waiting for some approval to release offer.
Any ideas i still have chances to get offer? BNY Mellon

Does anyone have any insight into accounting roles at Amazon, particularly in the Arlington/DC area? An Amazon recruiter reached out about accounting roles, but the posts in this bowl are about Seattle. Trying to decide if the culture/wlb/pay is even worth looking into since it sounds like the interview process is intense. Base pay seemed pretty low in other posts, but they were a year old and for Seattle.

I could be wrong but i dont think jobs are allowed to confirm salary, only confirm you worked at that place
Depends on the state - in NYC they can’t ask salary history but in other places they can
In my most recent background check, my new firm did not confirm my salary and I would expect almost any other job would be the same.
Dude no one is giving up compensation info to another company. I know pwc the only answer hr would give was whether or not you were employed and the dates of employment. It’s against company policy to give a recommendation. To much liability
Just say what you were compensated. Don't break it down for them. Not many places give bonuses that high. I audit and rarely see over 5%.
