HCL Technologies offer being delayed and recruiter keeps saying that there's a problem with their "Offer release portal system." I have already stated my issues with relocating until after I have the offer signed and ready. The project is supposed to start on the 19th and I'm supposed to join before, or on that date. It's already coming up soon and I don't have the official offer so that I can confidently start the relocation process. Has anyone else recently dealt with this?
What is project specific BGC in TCS?
We have two open media planner positions in Durham, NC that we’re actively interviewing for. Our client needs are heavily digital and social. That said, we don’t separate media, analytics, programmatic and adOps responsibilities, our media team is responsible for it all from ideation through optimization. We have high expectations for ourselves, but also have a great support system in place that emphasizes development at all levels. If you’re excited by this type of a role, shoot me a note. A lot of us have been there. You either report them to your boss for stealing ideas or you leave and let him fail without you to save the day.
Thats really all you can do.
What if the problem is your boss?
Always slip a ton of Ex-Lax in his morning latte. Then do it again.
I want to say Karma is real, but sometimes people like this always get away with it even to their death bed without paying for it dying in peace. So, my suggestion would be to leave. Seems like a toxic workspace you cant cure.
Life’s not fair.
Man that sucks. Know that playing the long game always comes back in your favor. When you become aware of duplicitous folks, don't put yourself in a position where they can steal from you. Deliverables don't go through them whenever possible. Talk to your boss (gently) but honestly about it and get their advice (if you trust them). Keep up the good work. People who take shortcuts don't last v long imo. Burns too many relationships.
I’ve tried to be objective and I don’t think my boss is trying to create a toxic workplace—I could be completely wrong—but he does seem to have his heart in the right place. I just think my coworker is better at being the worm in his ear. Is there a productive way to shut this down? I don’t think I’ll change my coworker, but has anyone been able to flip the script? Any pointers?
Have you talked to your boss about this?
This won’t change and you will be seen as a complainer. Move on.

The dark side of the 'bring me solutions, not problems' attitude.
Get a new job offer and then present any and all proof as you leave.
