I have an accounting degree and am looking for something where I spend most of my time using excel. Surprisingly, audit —at least at my company— doesn’t really do that. Any suggestions would be helpful.

I’m not sure if this is the right place to post, it’s my first time so please excuse me!

What is the deal with people listening to videos and music on their phones, WITHOUT HEADPHONES, in public spaces?? I am going to start my new job with Big four next week. It is my first time working in big four. I have been working in the boutique public accounting firm for so many years. Any suggestion?

Starting at PwC next year... newly married (Husband) with a kid on the way. How's life going to be with a newborn as a new associate? I'm older (30) and went back to school for my CPA if that matters.

Starting to feel depressed and burnt out. Worked 30 hrs already this week, and I have a toddler and 5 mo old that doesn’t sleep through the night. Don’t think FT or reduced schedule will work (cont)

Thinking about leaving public accounting but not sure if I’m leaving too early. First year audit manager at one of the big4 and I think I could make it to senior manager but definitely not partner. Been highly rated since I joined the firm but I feel I won’t be learning much for the next couple of years before I leave for industry. Im also married with children.

Random question but do you let your kids hang out in your bedroom and use your master bath if applicable? My kids always seem to want to use our bathroom instead of theirs and my spouse doesn't care but I grew up with my parent's room basically being off limits and think I'd prefer it that way.
