Employers have been ghosting employees for years. Maybe they’ll understand how rude it is now.
Most new law grads are not millennials anymore. Time to give us a break from all of the complaining.

Why? Idt there’s anything wrong with him saying that it seems like it’s a millennial thing/the recent generation of new lawyers. This is something he started seeing recently with applicants for the first time in 15 years. I’m only 31. He’s 50 something, relaxed and down to earth. If I didn’t have my own practice I would work for him myself.
Is your friend offering a competitive salary (particularly relative to hours expectation/staff support)?
Competitive pay for millennials? Or for what was considered competitive when millennials graduated from high school? 🧐

Employers do this all the time. Applicants don't owe the business anything.
I don't know what world you live in, but I have been blown off by interviewers or been made to wait for upwards of an hour after scheduled plenty of times.
