That would be M/SM at Deloitte and in the 160-190 range, tech should be higher

Thanks! I discounted based on lack of industry experience but maybe technical skillset + good social skills conquers all.

what's the nonprofit, or perhaps a list of nonprofits loosely similar that includes this one if you don't want to say exactly? in return I could be down to trade my spot

I didn't want to get too specific but there is a group of mostly nonprofit little consultancies in the DC area that are considered more elite than others and try to recruit very quanty types from top-tier schools. Pay is very low, benefits are ridiculously good, and everybody is extremely mission-driven.

He definitely wants to move up, but is allergic to self-promotion. Just does killer-level work and plays well with others.

Sometimes I feel like my boss takes "coaching" a little too far. He's all about "breaking me down" in order to "build me up". He's told me things like my voice is too boring when I present, or that I didn't do enough in my last role, suggesting that I wouldn't be in his team if it weren't for him in team meetings. Yesterday he asked me to call someone (on a non-urgent topic) who was on DND, and when I told them I'd call them later, he mimicked me. Am I being too sensitive?
