My job is cushy and it pays good for Minneapolis.

I have this need for something more and new, but none of my interviews, no matter how great I perform, seem to stick. Should I just take a break and coast for a bit?

When you coast, you slow down, when you slow down ramping up is (a little) harder. Only you can answer the “should you” question. I believe you can, so long as you don’t get discouraged by the ramp up. Good luck and keep us posted.

I asked myself the same question due to being in a similar spot. It’s nice to make a bunch of money and not have a stressful job, but I am not gaining any skills, nor really utilizing the ones I worked hard to gain. I feel my job is kind of a dead end for my career if I don’t make the jump elsewhere. So, yeah, I’m trying to ramp up my motivation to go find something more challenging that will allow me to produce better work and keep the edge in my career. Good luck to you!

We have a wide variety of needs but don’t necessarily need to have this future person have all these skills. For example we need someone with great copywriting skills and also need someone who is great at digital marketing. This person doesn’t necessarily need to have both skills but if they did great, but if only one, great too.

Fishes,

Does anyone know about the IAAP diploma in IFRS?

IAAP is an awarding body in UK.

My doubt is, does the value of the certificate of IFRS change depending on the Institution?

Will a person who cleared IFRS from IAAP have same value as a person who cleared IFRS from ACCA?

Thanks in advance

Pros:

- fairly decent place to work (from someone who worked with the Vancouver and San Jose offices). never met a blue badger (permanent employee) who had awful things to say.

- Ashley Goodall (their SVP, Methods & Intelligence) co-authored a brilliant book on leadership and people management called “Nine Lies About Work” that makes me believe they can be an awesome place to work

Cons:

- red badgers had low morale since they’re contract workers and can be terminated at any time
