My job recently got downgraded from full time to part time back in September. I’ve been casually applying to roles that genuinely interest me, but I get rejection after rejection with no interview. A friend told me about a hotel front desk job that pays $19/hour but I was in a supervisory role that made $23-25/hour. How desperate should I be?

My husband just received a job offer on an opportunity he is really excited about. Clawback clause in current contract: been in role for over 2 yrs, it was an internal move that required relocation. Relocation was approved shortly after (over 2 yrs ago) but covid meant the actual move and start of my contract with new subsidiary was delayed, I was paid by the previous subsidiary meanwhile. I got small relocation package. Would internal move be subject to a buy-out/clawback clause if I leave now and if yes, is it time in role or time under new contract? Any experience? Thanks!
