Hello people, how common is a Amazon to PWC move ?
I’m interviewing for a Senior Associate role and TC seems to be more competitive than role in L5.
TC $114k- Base AMZ- $73k +$38kstocks ( vesting 17k$ due next year)
TC $135k Base PWC -$81$ + Bonuses ( 50k$)
Looking for managerial skills which the PWC role avails, and L6 promo doesn’t seem to be happening soon in current role. I’m also mentally stretched. I hear WLB in PWC is just as busy but can anyone confirm if this move makes any sense. Google Amazon
Hi all,
I joined KPMG around 3 months ago but I am not getting work here. Although, I qualified some project's interview, yet due to some internal reason, they considered someone else, and I again came on bench.
I am unable to figure out what can be done now.
Should I start searching work outside.
(I hardly see any job openings these days)
(sap domain)
How's the resource management here?
(do they lagOff?)
Any inputs will be helpful.
Thanks!

Why would you leave Deloitte for PwC?
Don't feel bad, I didn't get McK or BCG in the last round either. Worked out fine in the end.
In 2008 for Summer MBA Intern and in 2009 for full time, I had final rounds with McKinsey, BCG, Bain, and I think Oliver Wyman.... 8 interviews and no offers. I had probably a dozen more with less prominent firms that I didn’t get as well (the Recession sucked 😂) . The one offer I had was Deloitte and I’m closing in on Partner. It will work out 👍
How did you have time to have multiple interviews with several companies without raising eyebrows? Friday's?
I really wanted MBB and particularly one of them I wanted real bad. Got to the final interview twice and got dinged. Finally DD came to campus and hired me. I soon realized that I was chasing after the wrong kind of work. I wasnt cut out for business consulting. Tech was my thing and I sailed through the interviews.
So in short, even if you gave your best, maybe they arent really the best places for you. Maybe there is something else in store for you!
This is how I feel with pursuits. Always the bridesmaid, never the bride
Take a look at Accenture & Oracle they’re hiring. Maybe take a interview workshop.
Just went through the similar thing. It hurts for the first two weeks. But it gets better!!
LoL PwC
Give it your 110%
Echoing the sentiments of others that it will work out. Many years ago, I interviewed at BCG and McK as a lateral analyst. Bombed BCG first round because I had never done a case. Thought I did well enough in M final round for an offer, but it didn’t happen. Ended up doing MBA and landing at BCG as consultant.
Basically ended up in the post MBA role at exactly the same time I would have otherwise. Got a huge bonus of doing an MBA as well.
Just want a change...
What is your area?
Sounds like you’re great.. just not that great :/
