My role was just eliminated, and I need to replace it quickly. I have a solid lead on a new job but based on the job description I think it’s gonna be a lot less than I was making. I’ve seen people on one of the bowls mention working 2 full time jobs, like in different time zones or countries. Does anyone have any concrete advice on how to start that process? Any guidance is greatly appreciated!

Currently scheduling “on sites” for a S&O role in CA. My referrer said they can hire as L5 or L6. Would like to land in the L6 bucket as I’ve heard 5 --> 6 is one of the more challenging promotions.

I’m looking for info on what the real difference is in responsibilities (manager vs IC, cross functional vs focused, etc) so I can focus on checking the L6 boxes during my interviews.
