My team and I have been working over time a lot for more than 2 weeks now. I do not think that we only deserve OT pay after everything. I hate how my manager thinks that we will be fine soon, and I do not have to worry once the new hires get onboard. How about those hard work we did? I feel like the things we have done are undervalued. The amount of exhaustion and anxiety I have right now cannot be paid by such. Not to mention it ruined my body clock now too. I am mad by the inefficiencies.

I have an offer accepted from Elevance 125k (Anthem) and w a good team and seems that WLB would be ok. Also, Amazon hiring manager wants to interview me for a job. Is just a hiring manager int. so obvi nothing guaranteed. Salary if offered will be more than 150k. My question is should I accept the interview and see where it goes? I’ve been a freelance print production designer for many years, and usually on-site in the before times. Now I work remote, and am finding it uneasy dealing with billing. Before I always billed hourly, which made sense, but it’s becoming an issue now. Some companies don’t have a full days’ work, so it seems wrong to bill full days, and it allows me to juggle projects for different companies, but my billable hours are down. I know I should bill a daily rate, but not sure that will fly. Thoughts?

I want to buy a large TV for Cyber Monday but have always been lower income. I would feel bad having family over with an expensive TV. I don't really need it. Our house is still very much low budget. I haven't made any real upgrades since getting a new job.

Is this a weird rationalization or logical? I am kind of torn so I considered just using that money for a vacation and maybe buying a TV next year... though I'll likely do this again at that time.
