My mom has been using it forever and says it’s amazing but I’m not paying $500 for lotion
I spend $100 for the loccitaine divine and that lasts me for about 8 months. Not sure if I will get the heart to spend $500 on la mer though, it’s a lot of money

Got it from Costco. Don’t see a difference. Will stick with Korean skincare moving forward

OP I got the eye concentrate and the concentrate
Started using it at 30 and have loved it. It’s the most moisturizing face cream I can use that does not break me out. I used to get cystic acne on my jawline and have not had any issues after switching to La Mer. Also, my friends consistently ask if I’ve done Botox or resurfacing and I’ve done nothing but LM and my normal retinol. However, I’d like to get the same results with cleaner ingredients so I just bought Augustinus Bader. I’ve heard great things about it, but if it doesn’t work then I’m going back to LM.
I got the 3oz tub as a gift now, both excited and scared to use it.. don’t want to fall in love with something that I would not be able to afford in future .. lol

My mom swears by it but it's so damn expensive

Once got it as a gift. It’s great but not worth the price tag in my opinion. Haven’t found a cheaper option though.
I love it! It’s the best!

Sometimes when my skin is in trouble I dip into my girlfriend’s LM supply. A couple days with that and it’s good again.
Ah nice. Thanks for sharing your experience
Check out Waleda ($18 from Target) it’s a decent dupe and makes my skin so soft.
I have both, the original ultra rich that I use at night and the light one that I use during the day

I had a bad reaction to it lol. Skin broke out. It’s made from seaweed so consider that. Otherwise have heard good things. My SIL tried it and had the same issue.
Skin care is so individual. My skin needs to breathe and LM doesn’t allow me to do that. But that’s just my experience. Go see a dermatologist and an aesthetician to address your skin care needs before spending $500 on product!!

This!! Also, I have spend thousands and thousands of dollars on skincare. Turns out the best thing for my skin is literally Aveeno.
Expensive doesn’t = good/right for you.
I started using it at 18 (I know, thanks dad for the cash). I am 30 now and have no lines whatsoever , even when I laugh like a lunatic

Would swear by SK2 facial essence, tested it on my half my face and that thing britghten (not just whiten) the side of my face that had it on. You can get it from Costco (the $199 jar, which is a great deal compared to regular retail) and you can return it
I started using the original la mare cream since two weeks now, and I can say that my fine lines and dryness has much improved. Everyone has complimented me. I know it’s only two weeks, but I guess I am gonna continue it.
