My wife and I both have pretty intense jobs with long hours and we have multiple young kids. Looking into a full-time nanny but we really need someone for 55hr/week. Nannies around here seem to be fetching $25+/hr so the annual cost is astronomical ($70k+). What are folks in similar situations doing and how much is it costing you? Any advice would be much appreciated.

I dint feel happy when my bf proposed me for marriage.. i am not able to understand why..he is very nice guy, we have been dating for almost 4 years but honestly, in these 4 years, i never had that butterflies feelings with him never ever. Its just that we are comfortable with each other as a person thats it and we started dating.

I’m hosting family from America in my home in Europe this week. Being away for just a couple of years has made me really aware of American tendencies. They’re fat and literally are only always thinking of their next meal. We can eat, and they want to talk about dinner. They always complain about their knees and feet even though they’re also only in their mid thirties. I’ve decided to no longer host friends/family from America because it’s always like this 🤦🏼‍♂️ 🫃🏼

A relative is raising a teenage son with her ex-husband. They have joint physical custody. The ex-husband has re-married. When the son is in his care, he often leaves the son at home in California with his (new) wife when he travels for work (which is often). The relative wants her ex-husband to leave their son in her care when he travels out of town but the ex-husband disagrees. The relative wants to know her chances of prevailing if she were to appear in court on this issue. Thoughts? Thanks!

Has anyone else talked to a doctor about stress while trying to conceive? I’ve been having a really hard time wanting a baby for the way my husband and I have been arguing or talking to each other. I think we should go to counseling. I know I love him and I know he loves me- there’s just so much animosity so much anxiety around discussions. Do you think our anxiety or tension is because we have not been able to conceive?

Unsure if my bf and I are incompatible or if I’m not compromising enough. How do you know the difference? He has so many great qualities that I love but also lacks some qualities that I would like to have but idk if I would be giving up on someone that is great for little things.
