Need advice. I’ve been very unhappy in my role for quite several years, and have looked many times for a new role with no luck. Today I was unexpectedly offered a position in HR that I want, with an 8% raise in salary but what amount to a 15% decrease in what I usually average with bonus. I grew up with an “always poor” mentality, so the idea of going back to move forward later terrifies me. I believe this could be a smart career move overall. What would you do?

Is it fair to say once you’re an LS consultant you can always fall back to a tier 2,3 firm? For context I’m looking to go from consulting to a hospital implementation role.
