I have varied IT experience of 14 years, small part in Dev and major part in Support. Support does not have future in terms of opportunities or pay & also I am not liking it.

Have cofounded a product & also ran a services startup but stopped during COVID.

Now was thinking to switch to PM, is it worth? And will transition work out if I take pay cut for 1-2 years.

PM interview goes typically with current domain, design xyz for abc, guesstimate; whereas in actual job you have ‘n’ no. of constraints to build, leadership priority , sufficient time to think etc. What are your thoughts?
