Need your advice
At the moment I am a part of a public sector consulting practice which is a subsidy of Accenture. I am bored out of my brains though, im doing change management and even tho the WLB is good I have always had my heart set on tech and the start up space. I’m going up for promotion end of year to an associate manager role so I don’t want to make any drastic changes. However at some point I want to move to North America and work in tech. What should my next steps be?

How is everyone’s workload? I was insanely busy the last month but the past week or so has slowed significantly.

Would you rather do Machine Learning at Big4 or Business Intelligence at FAANG?

I have 2 offers.

Is it really that difficult to get hired for a federal job? I was interviewed for a GS12 job but never heard back, they still didn’t hire anyone and I didn’t get a rejection. I applied for another GS07 job, was accepted, I took it, but I believe I can do better. I have a master’s and have extra graduate research experience. I am still applying to new jobs but I was told it is impossible to move up the grade level now. Everyone is telling me to stick with the government. What are your thoughts?

Compensation at AlixPartners for the VP or SVP role?

Once you’ve applied via referral link to a position, does it keep you in a referral pool or do you need to constantly get a new referral link if you apply to another role say 4 months later? Curious since they only last 30 days and i feel bad asking for a link a 3rd time now…..

I was at Big 4 consulting for a year before lateraling to ACN recently. It’s been about 6 months at ACN. Now I have an industry offer for Product Manager, which has been my eventual goal. Would it be too soon to jump? Or should I stick around for better exits in a couple of years may be? I’m worried the frequent changes won’t look good on my resume

Plan to go to B-school in 3 years (1 year out of UG now). Long term goal is entrepreneurship. Have offers at a MBB firm for a generalist consultant role and at FAANG for a strategy role. FAANG offer is slightly higher (though both are a 50+% bump on my current comp). Both would have me reset to entry level. Which one should I take?
