Be a sponge. Learn, find out what the top guys in your industry do, and always keep learning. You’re never gonna be too good to learn.
Work smart, and work hard, it’s a numbers game at the end of the day.
And live by this “To sell is to present, to present is to prove, and to prove is to ask questions. The end game is to ask enough questions ti find a pain, from there create a need, and offer a solution”.
Good luck

I meant to say Probe* not prove. Sorry

Ton of jobs right out the get go in sales, and a lot of people start in an SDR role, especially in tech sales. You'd be an "appointment setter" and have to capitalize on both hot and cold leads. Often times, just try to be authentic and the rest will fall into place...sales world is stressful but awfully enjoyable with the right personality and mindset.

Getting started is a grind, so often times it's very discouraging. Metrics for entry level sales roles can look daunting as hell. Make sure you're talking to your manager about reasonable expectations otherwise you'll feel like your drowning.

It will take time. Don't get discouraged. It's getting your name out there and networking. Good luck with your new job!

First, narrow down the roles you want to apply for. Then do the same with the companies you want to join. Lastly, reach out to recruiters or referrals. Best of luck!

Hi Fishes

I'm holding offers from Accenture and Wipro,

With A it is a generic opportunity where the work and the client would be decided after joining. But the learning opportunities would be more.

With W it was a client interview and the client is one of global leader in financial service and I really like to work with this client.

W's pay is 2-3L higher than A.

This is for Cybersecurity domain where A is comparatively better.

I'm looking to stay for long term, Please help me decide.

What are different roles in LTI. I have got offer as P4 .May I know other roles from P4 onwards.

Recently accepted a temp role as an HR admin for a former employer. Previously interned there & left because my supervisor did not have any growth opportunities planned out for me; this was in spite of my stellar performance, as reflected in my 90 day review. She has since left the company, but there’s crazy turnover in the company & in the HR department in particular. Just that an HR coordinator resigned. Is it worth going back into a dumpster fire w/ no leadership to gain experience?

Currently a Solutions Consultant at Pegasystems.

I am interviewing at and considering making a jump to
Oracle as a Specialist Solutions Consultant.

The reason for my move is currently at Pega SCs are treated more as AEs or Account Managers. The role at Oracle would be more of a true SC position. I also feel that Oracle will look BETTER on a resume and someone as young as me would have BETTER programs in place to train me and give me the foundation needed to be a successful SC.

Thoughts?
