Hello Gang, I’m on the business side for Walmart right now. Walmart Global Tech recently offered me a role to move to the San Bruno office, but I’d be taking a demotion from L6 to E5. YOE: 8, COMP(200k base, 25% bonus, 100k RSU). Is this competitive in the bay? I have Doordash and Instacart in the pipeline, but no final offers yet.
When will the salary be credited in Optum.

They are putting conditions like give your full commitment to join then only we'll release offer letter. I am currently looking for work life balance with growth. Hello Fishes,
Most of the managers treat the employees serving NP as their enemy and there are high chances of argument with them. Any thoughts on what worst they can do with employee who is serving NP but have good track record previously.

Yes, should be
I’m not sure but I think the standard is 10-30k depending on level. At a managers level I’d assume it’d be a lot higher than that.
I’m one of the few that did not get a signing bonus and regret not asking or negotiating for one.
My start date got pushed by 2 weeks, five days before I was suppose to start. A lill complaining and they doubled the bonus.
Start with a solid ask for your base salary, then increase it slightly so that it’s possibly aggressive but not ridiculous. If they give it to you, great. If they give you a lower counter, ask them to compensate with a sign on bonus.
So if I want 5% should I ask for 7%?
Agree with SM1 - easiest way to make the case is if they don’t meet your salary expectations. I’ve also added in an innocent question following salary negotiations along the lines of “Also, what is the average sign on bonus for an SC? I’d seen on Glassdoor that it is typically $10k - is that the right amount?” Or you can also use “thanks for trying to hard to meet my salary expectations. As I’m giving up xyz, I was wondering about options to make up some of that difference in the signing bonus?”
