Guys there’s this boot camp that I came across that trains people to get jobs in Top consulting firms and has a fee plan wherein you pay once you get placed. I just wanted to know if someone here has any experience with this ?

Between poor resolution and choppy connections, I bet nobody even notices you’re nervous. Plus everyone is too busy secretly looking at themselves to focus on how nervous you seem. Easier said than done, but don’t overthink it
Thank you, hope so.

Act as if
I have started hiding the zoom video window and treating everything like a conference call. Out of sight, out of mind
I turned off the video but that didn't help, will try that
Other things that have helped me: watch caffeine content before meetings, make sure I eat throughout the day, be prepared for calls when possible, meditation
All valid, very good, thanks!
Deep breathing (on mute) during the call before I have to speak. I’m talking “in for five seconds, hold for five seconds, exhale for five seconds” kind of thing. For some reason I get way more nervous on video than live in a conference room.
Also helps to remember that everyone is probably either staring at themselves or multitasking 🙃

Do you think you’re just out of practice given you are returning from sabbatical? I was on maternity for 6 months and when I returned I felt so stressed and nervous on calls. Since falling back into my routine and good cadence with clients, the jitters have subsided.
Good luck OP!
That could be too, thanks for weighing in. I'll try some more approaches and just really hope to be back in a better shape soon.

Try to say something within the first few minutes of the call. Anything, even if it’s just small. I find that helps reduce my anxiety or if I don’t and just sit there and continue to think about when I’m going to say something, etc it just continues to build.
Got it, the tension is building up and then I've so many things to contribute, more tension more thoughts. Thank you for this
