Esperanza Rising Resources. Have you used this book in the classroom? Can you share your resources? This book has so much about culture, migration, geography, etc. I may use to teach with Social Studies. Share links, resources, Teacher Pay Teacher ideas, etc. Thanks In Advance
Take breaks. Get up and walk, rest your mind. You’ll be more productive and fewer errors.
Go outside during those times, get some fresh air
Put some vacation on the calendar for mid February so you have something to look forward to.
Consistent 12+ hour days suck, but you’ll survive (even if it feels like you won’t). Try to take some time for yourself. For me, it’s getting in at least 15 min of yoga every morning. Not super time consuming, but made me feel like I could push through long days and was taking care of myself. Also, if you eat to stay awake or keep focus, have healthier snacks around.
Assuming it’s not always like this, it’s helpful to remind yourself that it’s temporary.
This job is the most stressful when it’s taking all of your time and you still have other life obligations or expectations to meet. When you’re in a bad stretch on a deal, just accept it and clear the calendar to the extent you can. I find that canceling a vacation or not going to a party is less stressful than trying to keep plans when work is truly taking all of you. Obviously this is neither sustainable nor healthy and you should speak up when you start getting staffed on more deals to ensure that you do get a break once the deal is finished.

These are both solid advice. Hang in there!
