Newbie here. What platform do people use to invest in stocks and EFTs? How do I compare which one is better?

I only have Reg left. I failed it once before. For those who have passed Reg what were some of things you focused on? Also if you have any study tips I would really appreciate it, tax has never come naturally to me.

Is Estate taxes usually significantly tested on REG? Just wondering since it’s going to get eliminated for exams post July 2021

I just heard recently that if you refinance and your house appraises at 20% more than the amount owed, you can remove PMI. Is this correct? Getting a divorce and trying to keep the house but moving from a VA to a traditional loan and would rather not pay PMI if I don’t have to. House was purchased for $460k no money down (VA loan), refinanced at $450k to lower payments $400/month, now have $430k left on the loan... would it have to appraise for $516k?

Pre-approved for a home but the rate lock expired and now we have to re apply. My husband lets me know his credit score dropped 111 points because of credit card utilization. I currently have both of my retirement IRAs in SPY (Roth & Traditional). I rarely ever see anyone here invested in SPY, it's usually a vanguard fund like VOO, VTI, VXX etc. What's you're reasoning behind that, and alternatively if you're in SPY, why?
