What is the market for multi family houses in Jersey City, Hoboken, or other places commutable to Manhattan? Wife and I would love to get a house with multiple units where we live in one and rent out the rest. But is a good area feasible?

There’s a debit card that I’ve been using for the past 4 years and it beats out some of the cash back credit cards. It’s the Cash app debit card. I haven’t heard people talk about it in the card community and it could save people a bit of money - 10% cash back. Moving to Austin end of this year, with a new baby.

With ~$500k HHI and almost no debt, in which neighborhood can we practically afford a house? We do outdoorsy stuff (mtb biking, kayaking etc.) and also have a dog that likes to run.

Is it better to have SFH for monthly cash flow or passive MF deals through a private syndicate?
