I have a fair amount of retail experience and have created a bowl to help fellow consultants who are interviewing in retail and CPG. My experience is across a wide range of topics (primarily non technical) and would love to help folks get their dream job. Would be awesome if others can join and contribute their knowledge.

People on fishbowl ask for referrals all the time and people want to help since referral bonuses are bigger than ever. Why not try this?
It's been a mental hurdle asking for help. Have been planning it for a few months and it just spilled during a long drive yesterday. I'll try the consulting bowl too
Will refer you to EY
Hi, I’m also looking to transition from PwC to EY in the Bay Area, CA if possible. Im being asked to relocate, but I don’t have the means to due to unforeseen personal challenges. Appreciate any type of support!
Some info about Deloitte... I was hired into their Product Development subset of S&O (whatever they call it now). Have an engineering background, worked to help implement PLM & supporting PD processes. Really enjoyed the clients and subject matter, and the vast majority of the D'ers I worked with.
I was asked to move cross country for the role, and it was implied (strongly) that they'd assist with the move, so I said I was willing (in retrospect, probably wasn't necessary). They also wanted to move really fast (as did I), and I didn't get it in writing - a mistake on my part, clearly. The move was very costly, took forever, and got very little sympathy... it became a genuine issue. I eventually more or less begged for some $, and they covered $3k, but that was less than 1/4 of it. There were also issues with tremendously poor career mentoring and some fairly aggressive SMs. Also played a critical role on a project where the #1 partner in the group was physically there, and felt like the work went unrecognized.
The boutique was back at home (CA), had higher pay, offered work outside of my engineering/product development space, less travel (though I never really minded that), and the opportunity to stand out.. ideally bringing some of the specific skills I developed at Deloitte. Unfortunately, a few of these points were a bit oversold, and I wasnt as at home in a purely project management atmosphere. Again, trying not to write a novel (not doing well on that front), i can elaborate more if desired
Anyway, very much appreciate leads, suggestions, advice, etc. And very thankful for anyone who has bothered to read this far on a Friday!
