Dont take ratings personally. Some times need focus comes due to bell curve thing, in which 20-25% of employees in the given group get lowest ratings in comparison to others.
Try to make the performance better in current year, leveraging the newer tools and platforms coming out of Gen AI and be the most resourceful person in the group.
Hikes at UBS are anyways in single digits only and it hardly makes a difference if it is 4% or 8%. Bonus is not dependent on ratings.
Try to take the feedback as positive criticism and move forward to be a better version of yourself.
Remember this world is very competitive and we are all getting compared with each other.
Due to bell curve thing, many gets lower ratings despite of significant contributions.
Last year my friend got same rating . He didn’t get hike but got bonus less than 1L . don’t loose hope . He was very skilled and hardworking. Crazy reason given for lesser rating that he was doing WFH.

It's better to be laid off than getting a lower rating and no valid justification even after performing well.

Bonus would be given. Expect lesser hike of 3-4%.
For roles in India, IT roles bonus is less and fixed part of ctc is high usually. For sales, product management, wealth management and research roles fixed part of ctc is low and bonus is high (only when bank is doing good business and have stronger year). For IT operations roles both fixed CTC and bonus is compatively very low.
That's how IBs manages the cost.
Why need focus? 😔
Managers which are more than 26 year in ubs can't give you good ratings and they eat all your bonus of they are from UK
