Hello fishes, need some guidance on the following questions - How is cognizant doing currently? Is it safe to join cognizant? How about the attrition rate, any improvement? How about job security? Do they layoff? Looking for some serious suggestions. I have a loan on me, and my package is low. And IBM doesn't give any hike. So was looking to switch. But afraid after hearing about current situation of cognizant. I am thinking several times before coming to a conclusion. 🙂 @Cognizant

Why are you asking this question?
One offer is monetarily much better than the other, what is the question you are trying to ask?
OP, I am guessing here that the B4 is EY. Kpmg and Pwc don’t have SC title and the bonus is usually mentioned as up to 17% for Deloitte consulting for SC.
With that said, bonuses and raises in consulting are probably higher than industry but banks pay bonuses well too. At EY, you will probably need to get promoted before you hit 160k and that would probably take 2-3 years. At offer 2 you would probably be higher in five years too, and your bonuses will be paid respective a much higher base. Unless you hate offer 2, their offer is much better.
Offer 2. It is remote, and the pay is way better. Unless you just didn't like the people or it wasn't a good fit. There is no reason not to take Offer 2.
Even if everything else is the same, aka same company, same compensation, same wfh policy, a “senior lead data engineer” will open you to more tech jobs than a “senior consultant”, not to mention it sounds way more senior to most recruiters, whether or not that’s actually the case.
Offer 2. You will make more money over the course of 3-5 years, even assuming you get promoted to manager in 3 years with offer 1.
Offer 2
What’s the 10 year plan? If you know it’s Data and Banking no chance go consulting. If you’re still not sure go Consulting.
