Hi Infosys guys, I have cleared one technical interview and got email for further round which is planned for tomorrow. Email mentions that this is a telephonic interview, is this supposed to be an HR round discussing salary or another tech round.

Receipt takes 7-8 days not weeks.
These days you don't need to wait for the transfer to be fully completed. Most firms allow you to join once transfer filed, which only takes a few days. It's madness to expect to hear back from USCIS on the final result before joining. Back in the day that was the preferred approach, not anymore.

Big 4?
Nope. Fortune 500 company
Not worth the fortune...
Agree with EY2 ....transfer is taking 210 days nowadays without the premium processing .
Apology. The H1B receipt takes 7-8 weeks. Not the transfer.
Folllowing
Okay good to know they said otherwise. HR still working with legal group to contemplate the situation
As of late last year, I only had to wait for the H1b transfer receipt to arrive before starting. That was when they were still doing premium processing. That however has/had no impact on the receipt itself afaik.
Okay. Glad to know. But the employer said that the receipt itself is taking 7-8 weeks now.
Just to point out the risk that if the transfer petition is rejected than you go out of status from the day you quit .... so weight the risk accordingly
What a coincidence, that premium processing announcement has come today. Thanks SC1
OP- the premium processing is for folks who fall under FY18 cap not transfers
That's what I thought
