This will be the first time I will be in tax slab.
I have few queries can anyone please help me regarding this.
In ELSS mutual the total we can save save tax is 1.5lakh. Do we need to invest yearly 1.5 lakh yearly to save tax? I am planning to have a Sip of 5000 monthly for 3 years. So total money invested in 3 years will be around 60000 * 3 = 180000.
Will that be sufficient to save tax or Do I need to have a sip of 12000 per month to save tax.

I’m a second year BigLaw associate that pays market. I was offered the position at a modified salary and hourly expectation due to their expected work flow needs. I’m wondering what is the best way to approach the topic of getting on the full salary/hours. Do I wait until the bonuses are given at the end of my first year? Or bring it up at mid-year review? Only For MacBook Users -
I slightly dropped my MacBook and apparently (slightly) damaged the keyboard and trackpad as per service Center. I don’t see any visible damage to the system but that’s what they say and are charging me about 28k for this even though my system is in warranty period (will complete a year in a few days). Are there any workaround for this? Like I can use external keyboard or maybe negotiate, anything else?
