A relative is raising a teenage son with her ex-husband. They have joint physical custody. The ex-husband has re-married. Some Business Intelligence/Analyst roles are very data heavy. I wonder why these roles do not have the term “data” in them, and wonder if it’s to keep the salary lower than it should be. I have colleagues doing intense data science tasks as BI Analysts, and can’t help but feel indignant on their behalf because when hearing their job title, one would underestimate their technical ability.

Is the HRA and house rent factor in salary are the same.

And LTA is depend on HRA amount.

I have an interview with an MBB for an knowledge management/specialist role. I currently work as a technology consultant for the advisory arm of a sub big 4 accounting firm. Cont.

What are some top exits for pre-mba/1-2 yrs post mba consultants into sales functions? For context - I worked as a quota-carrying AE at a tech startup before graduating undergrad and coming to consulting (current BA). Really enjoyed my experience and curious what ex-consultants have done in the sales space (industry agnostic). 🤟🏻

Interviewing with a small (50 people) boutique firm in a management position. They are in an industry I have 10 years of experience plus I have 5 years management consulting experience in B4 firm. Assuming the pay and potential bonus are reasonable what kind of challenges would I be in for? I already understand this would be a risk to join and help them grow but if I were successful I think it could be very rewarding.

Let's say I can't get a product or marketing job in tech, but I could get in via sales or customer success. Does working in those roles pigeonhole you, or is it easy to switch later? If you take a job as a customer success mgr for ads, or as a partnership mgr for learning solutions for industry X, are you going to get stuck in those products (ads, learning solutions), roles (CS, sales/partnerships), or target industry (X)?
